Iced Tea Concentrate
Brew it strong, chill it down, and enjoy iced tea anytime with this easy tea concentrate. Just mix 1–2 ounces with cold water over ice for a quick, flavorful sip—perfect for summer sipping or tea on-the-go!This is a great way to make a large amount of tea that takes up less space in the fridge.

Equipment
Tea Steeper
Teapot/Kettle
Mason Jar Quart
Ingredients
35-40 grams Loose Leaf Tea
28 oz Distilled or Filtered Water
Instructions
Heat water to appropriate temperature according to tea directions
Steep loose leaf tea for the appropriate time according to tea directions – cover to keep hot
Strain off into quart mason jar and chill
Fill cup with ice
Add 1-2 ounces of concentrate to ice
Add 8-16 ounces of cold distilled or filtered water
Sweeten with Honey Syrup or Simple Syrup if desired
Garnish with a wedge of lemon, lime, orange, sprig of mint, or other fruit/herb

Notes
Concentrate can be refrigerated for up to 7 days. Label jar with the date it was made and the date it needs to be used by. Tea Concentrates WILL cloud as they cool. This is from the tannins in the tea and will not hurt anything. It will clear up when it is diluted to regular strength.
