From the very first sip, this tea lived up to its name. The cinnamon brings a noticeable kick that warms you from the inside out, making it a perfect companion for crisp autumn days and chilly evenings. Now, if you’re making a connection to Fireball whiskey or wondering if this tea drinks like a spicy food challenge, don’t let the name scare you away. I personally don’t enjoy Fireball alcohol, and I’m generally not a fan of spicy foods either. This tea isn’t spicy - just a warm cup to the soul.
When I opened the package, I was instantly taken back to one of my childhood favorite candies, Red Hots! I absolutely LOVE that cinnamon aroma! The Keemun and Assam black tea blend gives this a nice bold base, while the cinnamon and cloves bring that familiar warming spice. The orange peel adds a little brightness to balance everything out. One fun thing I noticed was that as the tea cooled, an almost syrupy sweetness started to come through. Such a fun, nostalgic cup!
While I'm not a huge Fireball or Red Hots fan myself, I have to give Steep Right Up a ton of credit here for making an essentially perfect Fireball imposter! Truly could swap this out at a bar and have no one know they drank tea instead of Fireball. The hot cinnamon extract is POTENT. If that candy-like hot cinnamon is your bag, you will love this. Supposedly one of Steep Right Up's top sellers.
Wow, this one packs a serious punch! Cinnamon is the star of the show here. It's bold, fiery, and deeply nostalgic. It instantly reminds me of Red Hots candy as a kid. A hint of clove peeks through in the background, though it stays very subtle. The black tea base itself is mild and smooth, with a distinct sweetness that leaves a rich, syrupy mouthfeel after each sip. While this isn't a tea I would drink often, it was was a fun one to try and reminded me of my childhood.

Soothing, warming, bold, and EXTRA spicy. A strong black tea with plenty of cinnamon and a hint of citrus. It's a sweet cinnamon...cinnamon hard candies or cinnamon gum; it is delicious!
If you REALLY love cinnamon, this is the perfect blend for you. It would be an excellent choice to curl up by the fireplace with when the temperature drops. It's sure to warm you right up!
