Smells nice green and grassy but tastes more ginger forward. Maybe itβs called platform whistle because the ginger really gets your attention at first and then it mellows out with the lemongrass. There is a lingering sweetness from the orange peel and the lemon myrtle and ginger linger on your tongue.
A nice relaxing decaf blend with a mild kick of ginger that is perfect for a quiet evening or a relaxing evening.
This tea is a comforting, bright and refreshing lemongrass-forward tea. Upon the first sip, lemongrass hits the palate, followed by various muted citric flavors that are sunny and energizing but neither tart nor astringent. The green rooibos provides a nice herbal, earthy base without hurting the flavor. Bright, elegant, classy, and not sweet like I feared based on the ingredients listed. I highly recommend this one for lemongrass fans!
