Hojicha* (Japanese Roasted Green Tea)
From the quiet mountain village of Gokase in Miyazaki, Japan, this hojicha begins as tender first-flush leaves and stems…then is gently transformed through fire into something entirely different.
The roasting draws out a warmth that feels instantly familiar…soft notes of toasted grain, a touch of nuttiness, and a mellow sweetness that lingers just enough to invite another sip. Beneath it all, there is still a whisper of green…a reminder of where it began.
This is not a bold or demanding tea.
It’s a settling-in kind of tea…
a slow exhale at the end of the day…
a cup that meets you where you are and gently brings you back to center.
Low in caffeine and naturally smooth, it’s perfect for evening rituals, quiet moments, or whenever you’re craving something warm, grounding, and effortlessly comforting.
